Yumi is selected to be the third member of the Tekkaman team. She looks up to D-Boy/Blade and falls in love with him (she calls him the "White Tekkaman" and thinks he is a knight in shining armor) - he saved her life when she was younger. She is rash and immature, crying about everything, but she is indeed a very powerful Tekkaman, Tekkaman Iberu. Once she learns to use her powers, she becomes very effective and actually manages to help Blade improve his skills when he fights Dead. Her pilot is Hayato, a young man who has a crush on her and is very protective of her. Yumi is blonde with green/blue eyes and wears her hair in a ponytail; Hayato has brown hair.

She is older than Yumi and resents the attention Yumi got from Aki, their chief. Although she was a better Tekkaman, Yumi accidentally gets the Reactor Voltekka upgrade that Natasha was supposed to get. But eventually, Yumi earns her respect and they become friends. She is a tough talker and a good fighter, but there are a lot of secrets to her past too. Her father was the one who ordered the military to drop the nuke on Praha. Her pilot is Goriate, a big, rugged man with black hair. Natasha has long red hair and blue eyes and is Tekkaman Vesnar.

He is a total playboy. The first time he appears, there is a flock of girls outside his shower waiting for him. In fact, he is rarely seen without a girl on his arm and often jokes to Yumi that she must be in love with him, though he treats her much like a little sister. I think Hayato looks up to him because he thinks Yumi would like him better if he was more like David. Even though David seems cheerful most of the time, he is acutally pretty moody and depressed and secretly in love with Aki. He becomes Dead End's only friend as well, and sympathizes with the young man because he was a victim at Praha too. His pilot is Anita, a woman with short pink hair. David is blond with blue eyes and becomes Tekkaman Zommer. Both he and Dead End are probably Czech.

He is a mysterious character who first appears as the "Black Tekkaman" and forms an odd bond with David. He holds a grudge against the Space Knights, who he blames for dropping a nuclear bomb on the city of Praha, and especially hates the Red Tekkaman. He is an androgynous looking young man, almost feminine, with longish green hair and becomes Tekkaman Dead. His Tekk crystal is set in the handle of a knife that he carries. He is even more powerful than Blade, but cannot control his anger and wants to die more than anything, but cannot bring himself to do it. He only listens to David because he feels David understands him a little bit.

She has taken over Freeman's position as Chief of the Space Knights. She also has gained the powers of a Tekkaman and wears a red armor suit, courtesy of Pegas, and is often referred to as the "Red Tekkaman" or "Scarlet Tekkaman." Aki is a good fighter and capable commander, cool and collected, but she is still very much in love with D-Boy.

I'm not sure what he does still, but he seems to be the co-leader of the Space Knights along with Aki. Aki relies on his advice as much as she relies on Honden's and it was D-Boy who said that Yumi would be a great Tekkaman. In the beginning, he stayed in a secret office which it only Aki and Honden know about, but Yumi accidentally ran into him and he eventually revealed to the new Space Knights that he was Tekkaman Blade. And although Yumi fell in love with him (she called him D-san (Mr. D) for "Dream Boy"), D-Boy is already in love with Aki. During the Dead End story, D-Boy finds that his powers are stretched to the limit once again, but with Yumi's help, he becomes an even stronger fighter and triumphs over Dead.

He has become sort of an advisor to Aki, as well as chief of the engineers and all-around advice dispenser. His hair is now gray.
